the wealthy nomad story
It all began ten years ago.
I’m Marchela — location-independent business owner, tax expert, and slow nomad. This is how a chartered-accountant-in-training at a Big Four firm ended up helping nomads keep more of what they earn.
chapter one
Seven years inside the machine.
In 2014 I joined the corporate world, ready to become a certified chartered accountant. I worked for PwC in London for seven years, helping high-net-worth individuals with their complex tax affairs — the structures, the residencies, the details most people never see.
In 2018 I tasted what freedom felt like, when I took a three-month sabbatical to travel Southeast Asia alone. I loved it so much that in the years that followed I became quietly obsessed with two things: location independence and financial wealth — my golden tickets to a freedom life.
chapter two
Obsessed with freedom.
In 2020 I decided it was time to claim my freedom back — full control over my location and my time. So, despite loving my job, I left the corporate world and immediately did two things:
One — I moved my tax residence out of the UK, where I had been paying tax at 40%.
Two — I set my business up for very low taxes, using everything those seven years had taught me.
I was on my way to becoming my own version of a wealthy nomad: financially abundant, and free to work from wherever in the world I wanted.
the mission
Wealthy Nomads is my way of helping our community achieve abundance — in freedom and wealth.
I’m here to help fellow location-independent business owners and nomads navigate the complex world of taxes — and reduce them massively, by at least 60% on average, without the stress, the fear, or the feeling of being at it alone.
Because you can live your dream lifestyle and pay significantly less than the 40–50% you’re used to — without giving up your passport, and without selling your property.
I did it — and so can you.
